Brand Photography for Grey & Gold Creative Studio

Filed in Featured, Photography  /  February 15, 2021 /

If you’re looking for one of the hottest new brand and website designers in the industry, look no further. Grey & Gold Creative Studio has taken the stage.

About Grey & Gold Creative Studio

I was pumped when studio owner Bryn Smith reached out to me about brand photography for her new business. Like many creatives, she had been working in the agency world for a few years and was ready to take her first leap into the realm of freelance. We were both excited to get her new brand off the ground with high-quality imagery that reflected the five words she used to best describe her vision of Grey & Gold:

  • Warmth
  • Imagination
  • Confidence
  • Stylish
  • Earnest

Bryn’s mood board was filled with very detailed inspiration ranging from Tay Swift’s Folklore album imagery to Jenna Kutcher’s legendary personal branding. I can certainly get down with both.

While looking for the perfect location for brand photography in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, we found the perfect loft on Airbnb. Its decor was modern and offered loads of natural light. We even lucked out with a snowstorm that helped reflect white light from every direction of the south-facing windows, a photographer’s dream!

Our main goal was to create plenty of images that would suit Grey & Gold Creative Studio’s website, social media platforms, email marketing, and Pinterest strategy. We needed a good amount of landscape crops to easily stretch across web banners. And, of course, we needed loads of portrait crops for her to use to ensure a cohesive look on Instagram.
